TEXAS A&M 52 SOUTH CAROLINA 28 F…”JOHNNY Football ” who as 12th Man it’s the “K-HILL” Show coming to KYLE Field soon!…GIG’EM smashes the ‘Ole Ball Coach SPURRIER and the ‘COCKS in Columbia in SEC Action!…”FALL SATURDAY’S” with SUMLIN and the Boys grabbing a big “W” #GigEmFootball #CocksNation

The Texas A&M Aggies made a huge statement on Thursday night in Columbia , South Carolina as they go into William Brice Stadium  with a new QB under center and hangs a crooked 52 on the Gamecocks. The Aggies led the whole way as Sophomore QB Kenny Hill has folks in College Station, Texas already putting Johnny Manziel behind them.

Hill threw for three scored and broke Johnny Football’s record of 464 yards throwing for 511 yards. 12th man also ran up 680 yards of total offense on the Gamecocks as both Aggies running backs the “Williams’ Boys” Trey and Brandon no relation combined for 135 yards on 24 carries. The Gamecocks just could not stop that Aggies offense.

South Carolina QB Dylan Thompson was solid throwing for 366 yards on 20 of 40 with 4 TDs and an INT but he trailed all night long. To complicate things even more they could not get anything done running the pig and that had a lot to do with playing from behind from start to finish. Aggies senior WR Malcome Kennedy grabbed 14 pigs for 137 yards as the 12th man also tries to forget 2014 1st round WR Mike Evans.

Aggies lead man Kevin Sumlin though has to be elated that his QB came out and his team came out collectively and showed there will be more than just life after Johnny Football. As for the ole ball coach Steve Spurrier he needs a patch work job on that defense and as for losing Jadeveon Clowney…the Aggies and QB Hill had no one to fear coming off that edge!

Dallas COWBOYS 2014 Business in “SUNDAY TALK”…Another ‘BOYS CB hit with Suspension…the TWIN CITIES Avenger #28 likes JERRY’S House and the “STAR” on the Helmet…and will JERRY J. ever get the ‘BOYS back to the Mountain Top talking PIGSKIN not MARKETING Machines! #CowboysNation #StarOnTheHelmet #JerrysWorld #BoysProFootballTX

The Dallas Cowboys might need to grab a few players from that Oklahoma State/Florida State Game in Jerry’s House this weekend as the ‘Boys Secondary gets hit with another suspension. With #1 CB Orlando Scandrick out for four games due to the NFL’s substance abuse policy now add CB Jakar Hamilton. Hamilton (#2 on the depth chart at Free Safety) through media outlets will serve the same suspension handed down to Scandrick and the ‘Boys have starters Brandon Carr (CB), and both safeties J.J. Wilcox and Barry Church but will be extremely limited in quality depth.

Also through various media outlets Vikings star RB Adrian Peterson dba Twin Cities Avenger #28 has alluded to the fact that he would love to play for Jerry and the Dallas Cowboys and being an ex-Boomer Sooner Star and from the state of Texas that is par for the course. Now the Cowboys current RB DeMarco Murray  if you remember was the next star RB at Oklahoma after Peterson left and Murray has to be thinking stay in the Twin Cities as I will not be playing behind A.P. again! The Twin Cities Avenger was just doing some wishful thinking that’s it at least from Skol Nation weighing in…

Then last but not least would Jerry Jones every move aside and let the proverbial “Football Guy” run the Dallas Cowboys? When they won those Chips in the 90s it was Jimmy Jones Machine on and off the field keeping the ‘Boys America’s Team. Oklahoma Sooners and college football legend Barry Switzer kept that going in his time as Dallas Cowboys lead man with a lot of what was left from a players standpoint from Johnson but he did win! Jerry has to make that decision as self-evaluation is tough when you are at the very top cutting checks not getting checks. Meanwhile Cowboys Nation is out of patience…that’s just the reality of it!

Taking a look at Cowboys Business for 2014 and beyond…

TEXAS A&M @ SOUTH CAROLINA…”FALL SATURDAY’S” as its 12th Man hitting Williams Brice Stadium in Columbia SC for “DATE NIGHT” as College Football and the SEC opens with a Southern Backyard Boogie…#TXAMvsSC #GiGemFootball #GameCocksNation

The Aggies start their post Johnny Football era ranked in the top 25 as they get their 1st game and test from the South Carolina Gamecocks. The ‘Cocks start their post Jadeveon Clowney era in the top 10 and they might be better. Don’t believe all that hype Clowney was a distraction as i am more than positive he helped the Gamecocks recruiting in-state talent enormously while playing in Columbia.

#Aggies TEXAS A&M

Thursday August 28, 2014 @ 6pm ET

William Brice Stadium

The Aggies cup runneth’ not on empty as sophomore QB Kenny Hill the Texas State Gatorade Player of the Year two years ago will be calling the shots. The Aggies also have to replace two top 10 picks in the 2014 NFL Draft in RT Jake Matthews and WR Mike Evans and that will be tough as well. Two WRs to watch is Malcolme Kennedy and Sabian Holmes as they are senior and junior in the class room. For the Aggies though watch RT Cedric Ogbuehi, OG Jarvis Harrison, and center Mike Matthews  as all three were names  pre-season all SEC. On defense it’s all about lockdown CB DeShazor Everett as he is the Aggies true # 1 defender and another All-Sec pre season pick. Aggies will start six sophomores in tonight’s game on “D” watch that closely coming out of the motel.

The Gamecocks will have Clowney’s replacement in Sophomore DE Darius English. J.T. Surratt leads the D-Line followed by one of the best defenders in the SEC in Rover Back Sharrod Golightly (plays like former LSU Star CB Tyrann Mathieu dba Honey Badger ) who will be a CB on the next level. Backer Kaiwan Lewis leads the ‘Cocks Backers  with two really good safeties on the back-end in Brison Williams and Chaz Elder. Senior QB Dylan Thompson takes over for Conner Shaw the winningest ‘Cocks QB in history. Watch RB Mike Davis who has a chance to breakout with senior WR Damiere Byrd.

DODGERS 3 DIAMONDBACKS 1 F…LAD’s VAN SLYKE goes solo Bomb and KEMP grabs two Ribbies as @ClaytonKersh22 gets closer to another NL CY Young grabbing “W” #16…”WEEKDAY BENDERS” with DODGER Blue gaining a 1/2 game on the idle GIGANTES!

The Los Angeles Dodgers need to throw the Chavez Ravine Machine into overdrive and grab that nl west title. The Dodgers with Ace Clayton Kershaw a leading nl mvp candidate on the bump made relatively quick work of the D-Backs at the “BOB”.

It was a Matt Kemp two-run scoring two-bagger followed by a Scott Van Slyke solo HR in the 3rd coupled with the mastery of one Clayton Kershaw (W 8 IP 6 H 1 R 0 ER 2 BB 10 K) that did the D-Backs in. Arizona starter Wade Miley made two mistakes to Kemp and Van Slyke and it cost him dearly . Miley takes the loss falling to 7-10 as he gibes up three runs on seven hits as he walked four and struckout six. Dodgers captain save-a-game Kenley Jansen gets his 38th save of 2014.

The Dodgers moving to 76-58 gains a 1/2 game on the idle Giants in the nl west as the D-Backs fall to 55-78 and some 20.5 game back of the Dodger Blue! Can LAD finish strong and pull away from the Giants as we near September hardball will be the question for Dodgers Nation?

Note: Dodgers have the most W’s on the senior circuit and they are 18 games over the .500 mark with Ace  Clayton Kershaw 13 games over in 2014 all by his lonesome…

TWINS 1 ROYALS 6 F…K.C. Hardball down 1-0 in the 8th hangs a Crooked SIX up on the woeful TWINKIES of the Twin Cities to win 6-1…”MAKING NOISE” as the ROYALS add to AL Central lead! #MINvsKC #RoyalsHardball2K14

Both Phil Hughes of the Twinkies and Liam Hendriks of the Royals were dealing on the bump at Kaufmann Stadium Wednesday Night as the first place Royals were trying to add to that al central lead. Hendriks had the Twinkies scoreless until the 7th as Minnesota RF Oswaldo Arcia doubled home Kennys Vargas to make it 1-0 Twinkies.

Hughes was bringing it as his scoreless innings went into the bottom half of the 8th then he and Minnesota Hardball hit some unexpected turbulence as that 2014 Twinkies seat belt light was bright red. The Royals in I-70 Blue rally cap mode hits the Twinkies with a six-run 8th frame highlighted by six singles and a two-run scoring triple. Hughes had four of the six ducks put on his tab as he takes the loss falling to 14-9. Royals Billy Butler and Salvador Perez each had two RBIs to lead K.C..

The Royals then close the door as K.C. Hardball captain save-a-game Greg Holland notches his 41st save of 2014. Even better yet the Royals increase their al central lead to 2.5 games over the Motor City Kitties moving to 74-58. The Twinkies in the al central basement falls to 58-74 in 2014!

YANKEES 8 TIGERS 4 F…the Bronx BOMBERS go 9 consecutive hits on former AL Cy Young Winner DAVID PRICE sending a Baker’s DOZEN to the Dish in the 3rd as the YANKS handle the Motor City KITTIES…”A CUP of JOE in the SHOW Report” with the YANKS hanging tough in the Wild Card! #NYYvsDET

Tigers LHP David Price didn’t see this coming and the Yankees didn’t either. In an eight-run 3rd frame that saw the Pinstripes send a dozen hitters to the box and some nine consecutive hits David Price had to be dumbfounded to say the least. After a single, double, single, double, a coaching visit, another single, single, single, single, and single poor David Price was finally sent to the showers. The Pinstripes having the time of their life  puts up eight runs as Motor City Kitties middle man Blaine Hardy promptly replaces Price and goes 1-2-3…go figure!  All nine Pinstripes starters had at least a hit.

The Tigers after spotting the Pinstripes eight scores single runs in the 4th, 6th, 8th, and 9th. In the middle of that was a Miggy Cabrera two-bagger and V-Mart solo blast, and Nick Castellanos run-scoring triple, and a Torii Hunter single. Pinstripes starter Shane Greene gets the “W” allowing two runs in five innings as he struck out eight Tigers!

The Yanks 6.5 back of the al east leading Charm City O’s are just 2.5 back of the #2 wild card team the Seattle Mariners. The Tigers a 1/2 game out in the wild card but just two games back of the al central leading Kansas City Royals.

CARDINALS 1 PIRATES 3 F…LOCKE out duels WAINRIGHT as the BUCS grab the rubber game and move closer to the NL Wild Card Lead?…”GET AWAY DAY” BUCS strike as it could’ve been worse! #STLvsPIT #RedbirdsNation #BucsNation

The Pittsburgh Pirates starter Jeff Locke was on his game in the rubber game between the Redbirds and Buccos at PNC Park on Wednesday. Ike Davis was the Bucs Hero again as he delivered the big blow in the 2nd on another ‘Big Fly” of the two-run variety scoring Pirates back stop Russell Martin. The Redbirds Ace Adam Wainright takes the loss as he goes six strong allowing three runs on eight hits.

Locke’s only mistake on the day was a Matt Holliday blast that made it 2-1 after 2 1/2 before the Buccos added one more in their half of the 3rd. Andrew McCutchen’s sac-fly was the Pirates 3rd run as they pounded out ten hits off Cards pitching. Locke went 7 1/3 innings giving up a run on six hits while he walked two and struck out three.

The Buccos now move to 69-64 and that is 2.5 back of the Redbirds. The Redbirds at 71-61 after losing two of three i the ‘Burgh is just two games back of the nl central leading Beer Makers!

Dawg Pound’s GORDON gets 16 with nothing in between…Bluedude Sportstalk “FRONT LINE” AUGUST 27, 2014 talking Brown’s #1 Dawg on Offense WR Josh Gordon’s off-field shortcomings costs him all of 2014! #DawgPound @Josh_GordonXII #BrownsNeedA#1WR

NFL Commissioner weighed in all by his lonesome weighing all the findings and a repeat offender was Browns WR Josh Gordon. Roger took a stand and the original ruling was a 1-year suspension and that was upheld. We can get into all the other rulings on this type of off-field behavior but we are talking Mr, Gordon an employee of the Cleveland Browns which is working under the NFL shield.

The Dawg pound has been preparing for this somewhat but in all actuality they probably even underestimated that Gordon would get all 16 in 2014.  No NFL team with week one right around the corner can find Gordon’s 2013 numbers in which he hauled in 87 pigs on 159 targets for an NFL leading 1,646 yards and was in your end zone nine times. He also had an NFL leading 117.6 yards per outing and that is “Monsters on the Outside” worthy certified and verified.

The Browns now will go with 2014 free agent pick up s in the Cowboys Miles Austin, the Bengals Andrew Hawkins, and Restore the Roar’s Nate Burlison as their top three wide outs in 2014 to start the 2014 16-game trek. Losing Gordon and those numbers to any NFL outfit is a huge blow…just absolutely devastating!

SKY 81 DREAM 80 F…”SKY Watch” Report as the Chicago SKY digs deep behind former Delaware Lady BLUE HENS Star ELENA DELLE DONNE’s 34 points as the SKY heads to EAST Finals…#SKYgang #SKYnation #TeamDelleDonne #TeamFowles #WNBAPlayoffs2K14

It was melodramatic and nothing else in the Highlight Factory turned to Atlanta Dream Factory 404. The Chicago Sky and Atlanta Dream tied at 1-1 in the final game of the best of three went all the way to the wire featuring to of the best lady hoopers in the milky way galaxy. In the end it was former Delaware Lady Blue Hens Star Elena Delle Donne beating former Louisville Star Angel McCoughtry but not after each throw and land haymakers to end the series!

The Dream seemingly had everything under control at the break with a 54-41 lead. Both Delle Donne and McCoughtry had a baker’s dozen at the break but it went straight grab your favorite antacids for the 2nd half with the Sky outscoring the Dream 40-26 erasing a 67-51 Dream lead at the end of three.

Delle Donne led the charge in that 30-13 4th frame as she poured in 17 of here game-high 34 points including a nifty mid-range j driving towards the left baseline going glass with 8.2 seconds remaining. It was McCoughtry though filling the stat sheet up (17 pts 8 rebs 4 assst 3 stls) that went for the game-winner with two sky defenders as the multi-colored Spalding Orange danced around the rim and glass and did everything but hit the bottom of the net…zeroes…Sky wins 81-80 advancing to the East Finals.

Sophia Young added 16 points for the Sky and Sylvia Fowles went double-double with 13 points and fifteen boards for Chicago as they face the Indiana Fever starting Saturday August 30th. The Dream gets a team-high 18 points from Erika de Souza and 13 points and fourteen boards from Sancho Lyttle as they bow out of winning time with a 19-15 regular season w-l!

CUBS 3 REDS 0 F…RED LEGS are down and out as Cincy Ace “JOHNNY Dangerously” CUETO < TRAVIS WOOD at least on this night…Cubbies All-Star RIZZO is making way for the “Big DAWG” at the next CUBS Convention…CUBS Rook CF ALCANTARA looks like a Keeper manning CF! “A CUP of JOE in the SHOW Report” in the Visitors Clubhouse at Great AMERICAN Ballpark! #CUBSnation #RedLegsBiz #NLCentralBasementDwellers

The Cincinnati Reds are almost out of the running for the nl central division as they are heading down to the basement joining the Cubbies of Chi City. The Cubs though have been there for quite some time as they look to be somewhat of a player in the 2015 season as things are starting to look a little bit brighter under “Project Theo”!

If your ace can’t get you out of the hole in the show stick a fork in it! The Cubs beat Red Legs Ace Johnny Dangerously” Cueto as Cubbies LHP Travis Wood goes six frames of two-hit hardball. Wood also received some timely run support as 2014 Cubs All-Star first baseman Anthony Rizzo took Cueto yard in the 1st with two-outs. The North Siders added two-run bomb from CF Arismendy Alcantara as he continues to impress at the dish.

Cueto takes the “L” going 6 1/3 innings allowing three runs on seven hits as he walked two and struck out eight. Those two Bombs on his tab hurt him as the Red Legs offense mustered just three hits for the game. Cubs All-Star SS Starlin Castro was the only player in the game to get more than one hit as he delivered a 2 for 4 outing.

Cubbies move to 59-72 some fourteen games back of the nl central leading Brewers. The Red Legs fall to 63-69 and 10.5 games back of the Beer Makers.

Cubs Nation “Project Theo” might have a chance after all…don’t kick rocks just yet!

Bluedude Sportstalk SPORTS SHORTS Take 195…76ERS going “LARGE” in the Painted Area for 2014-15…PATS Star OG MANKINS traded to to #ItsABucsLife…the “Lake OSWEGO Monster” takes the Pledge in “Believeland” to get CAVS Nation a Parade Route other than on a Holiday…just play ball K.L. as the “Hunted”! #SIXERSNoelEmbiidThabeet #PatsMANKINSaBuccaneer #LakeOSWEGOMonsterBiz

The Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers as though 2nd-year power forward Nerlens Noel and rook center Joel Embiid were not enough strikes up a trade with the Regulators report OKC dba Oklahoma City Thunder. The Sixers acquire center Hasheem Thabeet (2009 #2 overall by the Grind House) for a protected 2015 2nd round pick and a trade exception per numerous media outlets. The Sixers also get a few duffel bags of cash in the deal. Philly now boasts 7’3″ Thabeet, 6’11″ Noel, and 7’1″ Embiid across that front line and lookout if they can all stay healthy.

The New England Patriots shock the NFL World on Tuesday by dealing pro-bowl OG Logan Mankins to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for TE Tim Wright and a draft pick. The Pats move come son the heels of Mankin’s enormous Cap Hit in 2014 ($10 million) and the Bucs retirement of former Saints pro-bowl OG Carl Nicks. Looking at the deal from a afar the Pats add another weapon to the offense no one has heard of only by mid-season to be picked up on everyone’s fantasy team as Pats QB Tom Terrific stays the course. Belichik always looking to upgrade and at the same time save Bob K. some really big direct deposits! Oh by the way look for Kent State undrafted free agent Joe Kline.

Now we head to Lake Erie Pro Sports talking the newest start to hit northeast ohio in Kevin Love dba “Lake Oswego Monster”.  K.L has reportedly is 26 ppg, 12 rpg, high basketball IQ, and 110% all in committed to the ultimate goal …to get C-Town a Parade Route not related to a holiday. Look “Lake Oswego Monster” we know why your there and we need no confirmation as the Bulls, Pacers, Heat, Wizards, Knicks, Hornets, and Hawks are waiting on you and your supporting cast!  So commit to being the hunted unlike in the twin cities the hunter…that’s it big dawg!

CARDINALS 2 PIRATES 5 F…Bucs Starter COLE was superb as was Cards Starter LYNN but it was a Three-Run “Big FLY” by IKE DAVIS in the 8th that had #BUCSnation screaming at PNC!…”WEEKDAY BENDERS” as ZOLTAN Strikes! #STLvsPIT #NLCentralBusiness #NLWildCardHappenings

The Pittsburgh Pirates came in six back of the nl central leading “Brew Crew” and needed to make a stand after St.Louis grabbed game 1 last night. Bucs Starter Garrit Cole was superb holding the Cards to two runs through six and giving his team a much-needed shot to win.  Trust me Redbirds Starter Lance Lynn wasn’t no ramen noodle diet also giving up two runs through six frames as it came down the bull pens in this one.

The Pirates in the bottom half of the 8th with ducks on the pond at 1st and 2nd went to pinch-hitter Ike Davis vs Redbirds Reliever Seth Maness. The Redbirds in the 7th down 2-0 already had quieted PNC Park tying the game up in that frame. It was a 2-2 off speed “Get Me Over” Change that Davis’ ash, maple, or bamboo connected with to right field for a three-run :Big Fly send ing Bucs Nation into a frenzy.

The Pirates go onto to get the “W” after that jack put them up 5-2 which was the final score. Pirates captain save-a-game Mark Melancon grabs his 23rd save of 2014 as the Bucs move back to within 3.5 of the Redbirds and 5.5 of the Brew Crew who have yet to complete Tuesday’s action.  Lynn gets the no decision for the Redbirds.

STEELERS cut down to 75 as that Magic Number is 53…”TRIPLE DIAMOND CHRONICLES” avoiding COLBERT and Coach TOMLIN is the “WORD” if not see ya! #SteelerNation #SteelerGang #MenOfSteel #BurghFootball

The Pittsburgh Steelers meet the mandated deadline of getting the roster down to 75 as they cut six more players to get to that total. Offensive Linemen Chris Elkins and Emmanuel McCray, running back  Tauren Poole, long snapper Luke Ingram, and defensive linemen Hebron Fangupo and Brian Arnfelt.

Arnfelt might be the surprise in the bunch but Fangupo getting cut also means one mountain if a man in DT Daniel McCullers of Rocky Top Tennessee is making a move up the charts. The Steelers need a boost in the middle and when they were #1 against the run in the early to mid to late 2K’s it was former Hookem’ Horns All-American Casey Hampton plugging the a-gap along with Chris Hoke.

The youth movement is upon the black and yellow and the Steelers are doing a few different things with the D-Line. Those Aaron Smith Types need not apply as the Men of Steel are sending the ends up the field more and maybe Arnfelt was a casualty because of scheme. Steelers have to get down to 53 by Saturday August 30th, 2014 and that thursday Night game vs the Panthers looms large for about 15-20 players.

USA vs SLOVENIA on Tuesday August 26th, 2014 at the CANARY Islands Spain 2pm ET…USA Basketball’s last tune-up before the FIBA 2K14 Tourney begins Pool Play on August 30th…”LOGO WATCH” with Team USA Men’s National Team 2K14! @USAbasketball #USAMBNT

Team USA comes in with a sparkling 3-0 w-l having some early issues with Brazil and Puerto Rico before pulling away in the 2nd half.

USA is led by the best all-around player in the Logo in Red Nation’s James Harden…he said it himself. “Fear the Beard” of Nike Basketball is averaging a team-high 14.3 ppg. He is followed closely by the Pelicans Anthony Davis and Planet Oracle’s “Splash Brother” #1 Steph Curry the “HUman Torch” of Under Armor as they both weigh-in at 12.3 ppg.
